The Bailey Public Library invites the public to meet the candidates for Winthrop Town Council whose names will be on the ballot in the November 5th election. The forum will give Winthrop residents an opportunity to learn about the five candidates who are vying for three open Town Council seats: Bruce Burns, Linda Caprara, Christopher Lavigne, Zachary Steele, and Andy Wess. All candidates have accepted our invitation to participate in the event.
Library Director Richard Fortin will moderate the event, wherein each candidate will have an opportunity to make an opening statement, followed by a discussion of Town issues, a period for public question and answer, and closing statements.
